Good Evening

I'm excited about tomorrow :D I saw Kanye's assholeness on the TV. (Was watching VMAs.) Halfway through the show the signal cut off cause it was raining like shiiiite so I'm here. Giving everyone an update :)

Walked to PapaRich with the family for breakfast cause the weather was too nice outside. & it was only 2 minutes away. There was this stray cat wandering around our table. I squatted on the floor next to it.

"Can we get a kitten?"
"No."
My dad doesn't like cats.

I won't get to see anyone for the next week so...
Selamat Hari Raya Everyone,
Happy Birthday Timothy
&
Alia, have fun in Australia!

and don't forget that...

When life sucks: spit on it.
Hock a nice, substantially juicy mouthful
Right into its left eye.

And then rush in quickly!

Bite its nose off!

And let it sputter in its own nasal blood.

Lunch at Pasta Zanmai tasted really good. Met up with my mom's lady friends & their kids. The creepy, little person was there being creepy. I don't enjoy his company but I have to be nice. Sucks doesn't it. I could say that I would rebel against what I have to do but I know I wouldn't even try. Cause I'm a good little church girl :) Do you know anyone that you are repulsed by - or maybe a slightly nicer word - that you may have preferred to stay home if you knew he/it was going to be there?

To whoever is reading: I hope you don't. I hope you don't know such a person. I hope you are kind and nice enough to spread the love or suck it up.

Pancakes for breakfast. I miss the Winnie the Pooh cereal I used to have. There would be tiny TINY marshmallows in the shapes of iforgotwhat & they tasted so good. They don't sell them anymore now. Sad. I'm looking at pictures of cereal.
Cereal Killer. Haha.

Champagne Reunion

I can talk about myself. It’s easy to talk about myself.
Never mind, let’s talk about you. What
do you think about life? How goes it with you?
Have you decided what the purpose of it all is yet?
I asked you back in high school. Have you
trudged through enough experience
to give me a general idea? I am still asking the question,
to anyone and everyone. But
it’s those good old friends, I find,
whose answers interest me the most.

I was there with you during all those
angsty summer nights, when
school was out and we were out of our minds
with boredom and depression. Quick, slick,
wild nights scorched up sporadically to let us know
exactly how stoic the rest of it all really was.
Bonfires shone just bright enough to light the
booze and drugs, inching closer to our fingertips as
we leaned over the railing of legality to temp our curiosity
and emblazon our stupidity just enough to show
what dumb shits we really were,
fresh faced and already asking to be slapped.

I was there with you when your parents divorced, when
your dad sniffed out a new family and
your mom drove off to drown herself in mill pond.
I hung off your arm as you took me to bonfire after bonfire
and we made a bet as to how many guys we could
slosh in one night. Yes, yes,
I was there. You may not remember me, but

But what are you doing now?
What have you decided? What hidden objective
was worth tromping through all that mud and fuck?
Have you reached the other side of this dung yet?
Should I keep my shoes on and close my eyes and
expect to find fulfillment of a delusional promise at the end?
Or is this impulsive vulgarity
just and only what I’m living for?

Braceless

Jaryn! Your braces are gone! I'm not used to it cause normally we'd be laughing about how guava always gets stuck in between your braces. After 2 years & 9 months of ulcers and chewing gum hiatuses, you're finally brace-free :)Have you seen Nicholas Sparks' new book? I want it. I don't want to borrow it from someone just to have to give it back once I'm done. I want my own to put on my shelf with the other family of books up there. But being priced at RMsixty-freaking-nine bucks, there's a fat chance my mom will let me get it. Oh poo, sometimes I wish I were spoiled rotten. At least I'd get anything and everything I wanted. Fat chance on that happening either.

Raya holidays start tomorrow. The Board of Education(?) decided to give all schools an extra day off. Best decision EVER! I'm going to Sri Lanka on Sunday in the wee hours of the night. That means I'll have to wake up at 4 in the morning. (You know, Air Asia. Now everyone can fly.)
Adventure.
But now the dinner bell has chimed

and we get dirty looks sneaking in with dirty hands;

skinned knees are sore to bend and

no one wants to hold a hand sticky with

melted purple popsicle.

Dinner is done, I’m still hungry and

those anthills I poked kicked lost

me my banana pudding.

Let’s run back outside and watch it get dark,

howl at the moon like we did last night.

I like screaming in the dark with you.

Lots of EMs

What's makes new stationery so special? I like having new ball-point pens to write on new exercise books. That have been used yet. Me, myself & my stationery. I hate it when there's a small smudge of pencil lead or my sentences don't follow the lines. I don't like it when the corners accidentally crumple or the ink seeps through to the other side of the paper. Slight perfectionism?

Jaryn's foot spoil. Now her stomach also spoil. Get better. I miss you in class :(

Extra

If you must know - which you obviously shouldn't have to - those old, brown, leather suitcases? They interest me. They fascinate me. What I would give to have one.

Right now I'm getting those annoying little pop-ups at the bottom-right corner of the screen about some other person's updates on Facebook. Goodnight, I'm off to watch Desperate Housewives on Astro :)

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze

It's no icing on the cake. Patrick Swayze died. From pancreatic cancer. It's sad :( He was only 57. I saw an update on E! that he passed and my jaw dropped. My brain went fsszzhhh Somebody died today while you were figgety-faggoning around with doughnuts. I mean, I knew he was sick and all but don't people usually pull through? I say this with all my condolences of course.
On a lighter note I got Nicholas Neoh to buy me a chocolate doughnut from the Leo stall. I told Nicholas Tan (people really have to stop naming their sons Nicholas. It's starting to get irritating to explain to people which Nick I'm talking about.) about it & he said

"Guys do nice things for girls cause deep down they feel that they might have a chance with them. That's why I'm not nice to you."

P/S: I've got swimming tomorrow :) Finally!
