Whippy

I feel so productive today.
I woke up at 9 in the morning with only 5 hours of sleep on my belt.
I cleaned out all the crap from my room. Top to bottom. Two trash bags filled to the rim.
It took me 5 hours. 5 long hours of going up and down, taking things out and putting them back, finding dead mosquitoes in my drawers & inhaling shit loads of dust then sneezing.
I sorted out all my old, new, unused books for school.
I ate lunch.
I watched Stan Helsing.
Then I turned over my dad's bed in his room. (Don't ask.)
I went out to the bank with my mom for an errand.
I repainted my nails the same three colors on the same three fingers.
& I uploaded the Italy pictures to Facebook.

That's a lot compared to what I'd usually do. Which is nothing.

A first look

Buon giorno! (Hello)

I'm back from Italia! From the blistering cold & pizzapastaforeverymeal. From the pretty italians & 1000 year old buildings. I'm back! Reached home yesterday at around 4 and konged out from 8 till noon today. That's a full 16 hours of sleep only because the time difference between here and there is 7 hours, a 13 hour flight with a 3 hour transit in Dubai and walking all over with 3 layers of clothing on. Right now, I'm just glad to be able to do nothing. To sit down for more that 3 hours without having to catch a train, bus, taxi or plane. To channel my inner potato.

Italy people are pretty nice. Of course we did meet with the occasional rude one but they're pretty friendly. If you ask them for directions they'll try to help you even if they didn't speak English.
Shopping was even better than the traveling. All in we spent about idontknow cause my mom wouldn't tell me. There was a Gucci store literally right outside our hotel. I like shopping there. I like shopping there a lot. If it wasn't for the exchange rate we would have bought more. Boo ringgit.

On our last night in Venice, Nick and I heard some sounds from the room next to ours. Strange sounds. Odd sounds. People were doing it. How sure were we? Whatever was behind that wall was thumping against it. All we could do was laugh it off.

I cant possibly upload all the pictures here. That would take 5 million years. Just look it up on Facebook if you'd like :)

Mary Christmas

I'm wigging out people. My flight is at 2 in the morning. That's about 10 hours from now. I don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. Sitting around just makes me want to get up and standing makes me want to sit down. I can't go outside cause it's raining, there's no more junk food in the house, I've charged everything there is to charge, nothing good is on tv and I'm saving all my sweets for the plane. Right now, the only thing saving me from utter desperation is talking to people online. Just thinking that in 24 hours I'll be in ROME is beyond the beyond. I'm going to be away till next Friday so I trust that you people will remember me.

One of those feel-good candids taken yesterday with Shun Zhe's camera.
"This would make a great picture for the school brochure if there weren't any cards, nail polish and iTouches in there."
I'm sorry. Can't remember who said that but to whoever you were, that was awesome.

Digital

Guess what my teachers thought was the best way to spend the last day of school. Cleaning up the Art Room. Buggering shitcakes, I didn't enjoy it. Jaryn & I stayed for one period (after I lost at a 5/7 game of rock, paper, scissors) but we missed the next two.

Grace taught all of us a new card game called 'The Coin Game'. I don't know how to explain it to ya'll here though. Too bad. But you should know that it's a pretty freaking awesome game. So awesome that we went at it for an hour and some. We even got Nigel to join us.

The rest of the day went on like this:
Running away from teachers & hiding in classrooms.

Playing TapTapRevenge on lots of iTouches.
Scrabble & Speed in 4 Sigma.
Taking some final class photos in 2 Delta.
Dumping out the rubbish from the locker.

"So Kilgore Trout hada depressing childhood, despite all of the sunshine and fresh air. The pessimism that overwhelmed him in later life, which destroyed his three marriages, which drove his only son, Leo, from home at the age of fourteen, very likely had its roots in the bittersweet mulch of rotting Erns."

Madly in

Talentime was not great. The first half was fine; with everyone hyped up, but the second half got boring. No one was paying attention to what was going on & when Mr. Ching went up to sing some Japanese song, it got worse. Not that I was listening anyway.

ITALY in two days.

Wo Bu Zhi Dao

Today, I must say, was pretty freaking awesome. Jaryn, Dan & I missed two periods after break to sit around with Ashwin, Chun Fai, Eddie & Athir at the futsal court. Our excuse: I can't remember. There was a cricket match going on and John's little brother, James was playing. He's like a carbon copy of John. Jaryn told me before that they looked alike but I thought she was just exaggerating it.

After that Alia, Jaryn & I wasted the last three periods of school in the canteen with the same few people again. Alia made me dance with her to Chun Fai's iPod while Pn Nurul was watching us giving that disapproving shake of the head. I really liked Soulja Boy even though it made us look like douches. Happy douches no doubt.

In the morning, the whole bunch of us got caught for having long, painted nails. I stood there chopping off my hard earned nails. Then the teacher in charge told us to pick up our clipping so the little kiddies won't go picking them up. Nasty.

PS: Thanks to Athir, I can't stop listening to Boston by Augustana.
PPS: Talentime tomorrow. Good luck :)

Counterfeit

I am just one single weed
Amongst many roses standing tall

Each one has a dozen needs

I wish I were a different seed

Perhaps then I wouldn’t feel so small

Pisk

(this morning in my brother's room.)

I absolutely love 100yen stores. One just opened next to PappaRich and the CC nearby. The stuff there are so awesome. & they even have miniature whisks the size of my middle finger. My mom got one of their snowcones to try and it's like eating clouds. The best thing is that everything there is either Rm4.90 or Rm5.90. No more, no less. We got home with a whole bag of trinkets and bobbles, sweets and markers.PS: Guess who I saw at the MPH book fair. RIZKI!

Oldies

I feel rutty.

"There is no time for cut-and-dried monotony. There is time for work. And time for love. That leaves no other time!"

Today;
I feel a little wrinkled in the thinking department. Like ringed-out washcloths.

There's something wrong with Shu Lynn

Today was awesome with a capital A. Not only did I get to miss class for the whole day, but I got to miss it with my favorite people in the world. Leo had a Car Wash today organized by Riena. I think it's cool that she managed to plan everything out so well. She's the mastermind of the plot. Washing cars is a heck load of fun. Wet T-shirts, throwing soapy sponges, whipping each other with wet towels, getting paid to shut up for making too much noise & running around the car park trying to find the teachers' cars. Of course, everything started out slow with everyone recovering from an early morning but it reached momentum. Freaking funny shit.
Movie marathon at my house with Grace's pirated DVDs after school. Jennifer's Body, The Orphan and The Ugly Truth. All of us were screaming our brains out throughout The Orphan. Right now I'm still trying not to look behind me each time I turn a corner in the house & I may have lost my voice from the AGHH-ing. The gory scenes were so heart-stopping that all of us were rolling around curdling up in the corner of the sofa. Especially during the last part on the ice, you know? Jennifer's Body was O.K. No doubt Megan Fox was *ahem* and Redza was about to jizz in his pants from the girl-on-girl stuff that happened but it was all so expected, illogical & stupid-high-school-horror.

Try to imagine today with 8 people on 3 decently sized sofas, covered in pillows, practically lying on each other, watching a scary movie, screaming & laughing. I think I'll be bunking in my brother's room tonight. How about you guys?

PS: Darthanian!
PPS: Redza payed for the pizza.

Teach us how to walk

Wow. Seriously, wow. I love the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack. Every time Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap replays on shuffle, my ears die of joy. The new Paramore album is really good too. Go check out 'The Only Exception' and 'All I Wanted'. It's like a great song and a great singer got married and had babies. If that's even possible.Kelas Seni.
Jelly was my muse today for Art. Each of us had to draw someone else' face. Jaryn's looked so scarily alike to Eugene. She drew this necklace around his neck and it made him look like a stripper at a gay club. Jelly on the other hand made me look like a creepy old lady with eye-bags. Ieuan as expected drew Eugene Ng's mango shaped head and named it babi mangga.

PS: Neil & Nigel's legs look like Rocky chocolate biscuit sticks.

Chinese Family In Our Bathroom

So much to say with a pair of legs.

Sheena&Alia came over after school to watch a movie. We were supposed to watch Jennifer's Body but they said the DVD shop was closed. I guess we'll have to wait till this Friday when the whole bunch of them come over. Grace is bringing over The Orphan and Jen's Body. I want to see Megan Fox! Everyone's having girl crushes on her but I don't even know what I'm missing out on yet.

I have this Bottle of Fortune in my room. It's a glass bottle with a hole in the cork filled with colored sticks. Each stick represents a yes, no, maybe, why not? and so on. We had some fun asking it questions and shaking out sticks. Apparently, Alia is most likely pregnant.

PS: There's going to be a Car Wash organized by the Leo Club. Ask your parents to come by to help support or something.

2 Gamma

I really like my classmates. Sure, everyone else says they do but I really really do. They suck & sometimes the boys smell like shit. We played Cho Tai Ti at the back of the class for a whole period with Cik Diana sitting at the front of the class.

"Jangan main duit!"
"Bukan, kami guna kredit kad."
Jie Yao is st
upid.

Yesterday, Jaryn & I were making Leon tell us details on what, when and how he does things with Xue Yee. We managed to squeeze some info out of him but we started laughing, then he started laughing then John called us hen chuan. The both of them are really sweet together (Leon&XueYee, not John.) Like two peas in a really small pod.He told me he was going to miss her when he goes to London for the month. His flight is on the same day as mine so I'll get to see him off or something. My mom was showing Nick&I the places we're going to in Italy. Rome, Venice, Florence and Pisa. I can't want to try some hardcore Italian coffee. & I want to do those cheesey poses beside the Leaning Tower of Pisa that everyone does to put a stamp on the moment.
Alia came over to watch 500 Days of Summer after school. It's so good! We were pig squealing and rolling around the sofa trying to control ourselves cause there were so many smiles-to-myself scenes. If you like films about your not so ordinary boy-meets-girl-falls-in-love then you'll love this.
PS: Oh My Goodness, & Joseph Gordon Levitt is mad cute!

"Darling, I don't know how to tell you this but there's a Chiness family in our bathroom."
quoted from the movie.

Jakun all day

Guess who just got a new iTouch.

The pants are from Cotton On. I'm a happy girl today :)
& I got the 'Breakfast of Champions' book by Kurt Vennegut. It's so so good.

PS: I've got to pay for the iTouch myself. Time for a trip to the bank.

Free!

No, I haven't given up on blogging. Exams just ended today and I've been banned from touching the computer for the past two weeks. I miss telling ya'll stuff on the net :) It's been a heck yes couple of weeks.

I went for a hardcore shopping spree with my mom for winter clothing in Sunway. Added up to about 5 hours of walking. It was all worth it. Cotton On just opened up near Forever21. Alia said the stuff there is Mmmm...she's right. Go look it up.

Did you hear about the All-American Rejects Concert last Saturday? It was by far the best concert I've ever been to. Not that I've been to that many. There's way too many and it would take forever to load. I feel powerful cause right now, I'm the one with the pictures from that night. Without the pictures, no one would get to blog about it. >:]Alia came over to have breakfast with me before heading to Bukit Jalil Stadium.
We were this fucking close to the stage.
Mind the language. It's for emphasis.
Got to know these girls from Alice Smith's.
They're really nice.
Disagree came out first for the opening acts.
Then, Pop Shuvit. He tried to get us to carry him up onto the crowd. He failed for being so huge.
BunkFace lead singer replacing Moots (?) from One Buck Short.
I love this picture of him. I blame it on luck.
Sheena's sign.
Then he jumped off the stage to shake everyone at the front of the crowd.
It eventually ended of course. Alia, Shu & I managed to get a picture with him after he was done with the Meet&Greet. We didn't even need a pass to go behind the stage.
In Alia's dad's car.
Shu was the little homeless girl that night so she bunked with me in my room. That girl kept me up to talk about how she love Tyson & Jesse McCartney.

PS: I've posted the pictures up on Facebook. Ya'll can grab them but I want credit :)
